In Love with Switzerland – Top 10 reasons why I love living in CH

Riding the ferry on Lake Lucerne I moved to Lucerne, Switzerland 3 years ago and the question I am asked most often is, “Do you like living in Switzerland?”  Anyone who has asked this, knows that my answer is unequivocally, YES!  Followed by the question, “What do you like about it?” The list for this response is extensive but I will stick to my top 10. The interesting thing is, that prior to moving, Switzerland wasn’t even on my radar.  I’m not sure why … Italy, Greece, Spain, etc. were on my travel bucket list but never, Switzerland. I’m here…

Dead Sea Travel Diary

Have you ever dreamed of floating in the Dead Sea? I had read about it and seen photos but never dreamed I would actually be standing here! There are so many travel blogs out there, why would someone read mine? Then I started to hear these comments so often, that I began to give it some thought.  Why not?! Each of us has our own insight and perspective on…

Cinque Terre Travel Diary

I’ll never forget the first time I saw it … I was flipping through a travel magazine and there it was, these brightly colored buildings cascading down sheer cliffs leading to incredible turquoise waters.  Where is this place?  How do you say it?  How do I get there?  I immediately began researching to find the answers. You’ve probably seen images of Cinque Terre several times as well, you just didn’t know it.  Even as I’m writing this in my living room, an image of Manarola is displayed behind “The Summer Shoe Guide” on one of the BBC News Channels.  Cinque… …
