It was unanimous … by far our favorite experience in Cinque Terre was the pesto making class at Nessun Dorma in Manarola!
If you are in Manarola and even have a slight interest in cooking, here are the reasons you have to take this class:
* The BEST views in Manarola are from Nessun Dorma
* Nessun Dorma opens at noon for lunch and the line wraps around the corner and down the steps to get a seat at this famous spot BUT if you take the pesto making class, it begins at 10:30a and you have unobstructed views for the length of the class (1.5 hrs) … you can stay longer and enjoy your homemade pesto for lunch, which is what we did!
* You have the opportunity to learn how to make the best pesto from an expert ~ Simone, the owner of Nessun Dorma teaches the class! Doesn’t get better than that.
* Enjoy your homeade pesto, local wine, meat and cheeses and Nessun Dorma apron, which are all included in the price of the class (50 Euro per person) Vegetarian and Vegan items are also available.
I am telling you that this is a MUST on your list for Cinque Terre. You will not be disappointed!
